Trinity-Byrnes rededicates Rhea Field
With the recent addition of stadium lights, extensive field improvements, and new dugouts, Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School proudly re-dedicated “RM Rhea Field” on Friday, March 24. The ribbon cutting took place between the JV baseball game and the Varsity baseball game vs. King’s Academy. Music students provided wonderful entertainment at the event and Rachel Warr sang the National Anthem.

Two vehicle accidents claimed the lives of Darlington County residents over the weekend. An early morning crash on Sunday, killed Joshua Richard Pigatt of Seven Bridges Road, Lamar, when, while traveling on Tolson Road between Timmonsville and Lamar, his car left the roadway on a curve and struck a tree.
