Two Darlington County residents killed in motor vehicles accidents
Two vehicle accidents claimed the lives of Darlington County residents over the weekend.
An early morning crash on Sunday, killed Joshua Richard Pigatt of Seven Bridges Road, Lamar, when, while traveling on Tolson Road between Timmonsville and Lamar, his car left the roadway on a curve and struck a tree.
Just before midnight, Willie Mouzon, Jr., of Darlington died when the vehicle he was driving left the roadway and overturned in a field. This incident occurred on Pocket Road near Howard’s Crossroad. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene by Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee. These crashes remain under investigation by the Darlington County Coroner’s Office and the SCHP.
