DCSD holds annual “Art in Business” awards
Darlington County School District celebrated the artistic talents of its students on Sunday, March 26 at the annual “Art in Business” awards ceremony, held at Hartsville Middle School. A judging panel comprised of art teachers, contest sponsors, and community business leaders selected one student winner from each of the District’s 21 schools, and then four top artists were chosen as “Best of Show” to represent their age groups....
Lamar’s Wheeler signs to play football at Lackawanna College
Lamar High School star football player Randy Wheeler signed a letter of intent to play for Lackawanna College. The senior defensive end and defensive tackle helped guide the Silver Foxes to a 2015 Class A Division II state title and an appearance in the 2016 Class A state championship.
