Individual Arrested after Search Warrant

On October 1, 2026, the Darlington County Combined Drug Unit and the Special Incident Response Team (SIRT), which is combined of Darlington County Deputies, Darlington City Officers, and Hartsville City Officers, executed a lawful search warrant of a residence on the 1800 block of Blanding Driving in the Hartsville area of Darlington County.

During the search, deputies discovered 3 firearms, 1 of which was stolen out of Chesterfield County, 80 grams of cocaine, and quantities of cash.

As a result, Farish Ervin was arrested and charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by Persons Convicted of Certain Crimes, and Possession of a Stolen Firearm. Ervin is currently being held in the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center awaiting his bond hearing this afternoon.

This is an active investigation and more information may follow. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
