Darlington County Sheriff’s Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division have recovered several power tools worth approximately $1,500 stolen from a building on Stuckey Bottom Rd. in the Hartsville area of Darlington County. Inmate escapes in Hartsville, is apprehended
Saturday, May 13, an inmate at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center was transported to Carolina Pines Hospital in Hartsville. The inmate was discharged from the hospital and while in the parking lot escaped from officers at about 10:30 p.m. The inmate attempted to carjack an individual in the parking lot.
