Investigators recover stolen items
Darlington County Sheriff’s Investigators with the Criminal Investigations Division have recovered several power tools worth approximately $1,500 stolen from a building on Stuckey Bottom Rd. in the Hartsville area of Darlington County.
Investigators alleged that Daniel Curtis Joyner, age 30, of Bethune stole the power tools from the building and later admitted to taking and pawning the items. Joyner will be charged with burglary third degree, a felony punishable by up to five years imprisonment. Joyner is currently being held at the Lancaster County Detention Center on unrelated charges and, upon release, will be transported to Darlington County.
