Trinity football team falls to Hammond

Trinity Collegiate returned home Friday having suffered a 19-0 loss to Hammond of Columbia. Trinity Collegiate’s Reggion Bennett rushed for 97 yards while Caleb Rogers had 63 yards. Tre McLeod picked up 43 yards on 4 catches for Trinity Collegiate. On defense the Titans were led by Blake Warren with six tackles, and Brycen Scott had five tackles. Trinity Collegiate is 1-1 in SCISA 2-3A and 1-3 for the season. Trinity will be at home Friday, Oct. 9, to host Porter Gaud. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
