Thomas Wheeler signed his letter of intent to play football for St. Andrews University in Laurinburg, N.C. at Darlington High School on Wednesday, May 25, joined by his family, friends and school administrators.
Wheeler recorded a spectacular senior season for the Falcons, primarily as a running back. In 11 games, he rushed for 988 yards and 13 touchdowns on 140 carries. As a receiver, Wheeler grabbed 16 receptions for 183 yards and two touchdowns.
