Thanks for making Clean Up Darlington Day a success

On Saturday, April 27, we had more than 60 people gather downtown to show their love for Darlington and take pride in our community to make it a better place.

We collected close to 40 bags of litter, planted more than 700 flowers and bushes, trimmed trees and painted rusty signposts and railings. Thank you to all who shared their time on a Saturday morning to pitch in, especially the Darlington Garden Club, which began this effort that we continue each spring and fall.

So, if we didn’t see you in April, we will be looking for you in October.
