No costumes allowed at Darlington-Hartsville varsity football game

Hartsville High School reminded football fans planning to attend the exciting region showdown against Darlington High School tonight at Kelleytown Stadium that no costumes will be allowed into the stadium.

As a measure of safety precaution, no one wearing a Halloween costume, mask, cape, full-face painting or carrying anything related to the holiday will be allowed in or on stadium premises.

School administration also reminded the community to display exceptional sportsmanship before, during and after the game between the Red Foxes and Falcons.

“We want to be sure that everyone conducts themselves in a first-class manner with good sportsmanship being our top priority,” the school said. “We appreciate your cooperation in contributing in a positive manner to what will be a great high school football environment.”

The game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. kick-off.
