Lifeguard Training Classes at the YMCA
Train for a job that makes a difference. Become a lifeguard through the program offered at the Hartsville YMCA and learn how to help keep families safe while they are enjoying the water. There are two additional sessions to choose from.
• Must be 15 years old by the last class
• Must be able to swim 300 yards continuously using front crawl or breast stroke, and displaying rhythmic breathing. It is not timed but must be continuous.
• Must be able to swim 20 yards, retrieve a brick from a depth of 8ft, and swim on your back, holding the brick to your chest for 20 yards.
When:
Session I: Feb.12 & Feb. 21
Session II: Sunday, March 6, 12:30-6 & Sunday, March 20, 12:30-6pm
Session III: Sunday, April 10, 12:30-6pm & Sunday, April 17, 12:30-6pm
Registration Deadlines:
Session II: March 4, 2016 for March training
Session III: April 9, 2016 for April training

$160 member/$185 potential member
