Darlington needs a recreation complex
In reference to Darlington City Council meeting agenda on Recreational Complex August 7: This is something Darlington has needed for a long time.
Darlington is years behind Hartsville and Florence in providing better recreational facilities. Blue Street has served its purpose. I coached there for years, Lions League Baseball, but it’s time to move on.
I know it might be an inconvenience to some, but the complex will boost the economy in Darlington and give better facilities for our young people in the future.
Build it, and they will come, just like in the movie Field of Dreams.
