The Lake View High School Wild Gators hosted the Silver Foxes of Lamar High School Friday night in region softball action with the Gators getting the 10-0 win in five innings. The Wild Gators held the 3-0 lead through a scoreless third inning. A big at-bat fourth inning produced four runs for the Wild Gators increasing their lead to 7-0. The game was called in the bottom of the fifth on the mercy rule when the Gators added three runs giving them a 10-0 win. On the mound for the Wild Gators, Raven Locklear pitched a five-inning shut-out, produced seven strikeouts, no walked batters, and allowed three hits and no runs for the win. On the mound for Lamar, Heidi Anderson pitched ½-inning and allowed three hits and two runs scored in the loss. Tatum Weaver pitched 4 and ½ innings and allowed four hits and eight runs scored.
