Falcons defeated 3-2 in varsity baseball against South Florence

The Darlington Falcons suffered a 3-2 loss against the South Florence Bruins in a varsity Baseball scrimmage game played Thursday, March 11, in Florence. Darlington and South Florence both scored one point in the first inning. The bats for both teams were quiet until the top of the third inning when Darlington Senior Dickerson brings one home. It wasn’t until the bottom of the fifth inning when South Florence brough two players home outscoring the Falcons 3-2. The 6th and 7th inning were quiet leaving the final score 3-2 for South Florence. Darlington hit 3 balls and South Florence hit 7. Darlington committed 1 error while South Florence committed 3 errors. Be sure to enjoy a night out and support your local baseball teams!
