DMS Cheerleading Camp 2015
Twenty aspiring cheerleaders ranging in age from just 5 years old up to 12 years old took their first steps toward a future in cheering as they graduated from Darlington Middle School’s 2015 Cheer Camp, held at the Darlington Recreation Department Harmon Baldwin Gym. DMS cheer coach Charmaigne Ray and her team of students helped the little ones learn the basics of cheering, from chants and motions to stomps and jumps – skills the young cheerleaders demonstrated for family and friends at a June 17 performance. The camp grads will also get to strut their stuff at halftime of a DMS football game later this fall.
