Coker baseball program to host two camps

The Coker College baseball program is pleased to announce that it will host two showcase camps in the fall of 2015. The Cobras will host the first on Sunday, Oct. 4 and the second will take place on Saturday, Oct. 24. Both camps will run from 12-4 p.m. at Coker’s Tom J. New Baseball Field.

The showcase camps will feature in-depth skill work in all areas for those players looking to take their game to the next level. Players will be timed in the 60-yard dash, complete defensive work, take batting practice and pitchers will throw bullpens. If time allows there will be a live scrimmage. At the conclusion of each camp there will be a tour of Coker’s campus, as well as a question and answer session.
Both camps will feature instruction from the Coker coaching staff, as well as current Cobra student-athletes.

Cost for each camp is $70/camper.

For more information on the Coker baseball showcase camps, contact Matt Rein, assistant baseball coach, at 843-383-8189 or matthew.rein@coker.edu.
