Michael Rials signs with FMU
Congratulations to Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School senior, Michael Rials, who signed a National Letter of Intent on November 9th to play golf at Francis Marion University. Rials was named Region Player of the Year his sophomore season at Trinity-Byrnes. He qualified for the 85th South Carolina State Amateur where he made the cut. Lamar wins region title with 29-12 win over Lewisville
The Lamar Silver Foxes beat the Lewisville Lions 29 – 12 on Friday night in Lewisville, scoring twice late in the game giving them a region win. The Silver Foxes are undefeated 10 – 0. MVP of the night was Jeblonski Green Jr. with a 40-yard touchdown with 4:58 left in the game. He had three scores Friday night, with 106 yards on 13. DHS Cross Country Team competes at SCHSL State Meet
The Darlington Cross-Country team competed at the SCHSL State Meet on Saturday, November 5. The boys finished 17th and were the youngest team in DHS history, made up of two sophomores, Earl McCullough and Matthew Alford; three freshmen, Melika Depugh, Jamel Eley, and Nate Wideman, and two 8th graders Tripp Chapman and Tyler Berry. Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School’s Cross Country team finished a successful season at the end of October. The team competed in the 2A SCISA State Championship meet on October 29th at Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia, S.C.
