Hartsville resident encourages others to take charge of their health
Lou Ann Dayton of Hartsville believed she had been suffering from heartburn before retiring for the evening. She was propped up in bed trying to sleep, when she felt pain travel across her chest, down both arms to her elbows. Her husband Rick brought her to the Carolina Pines Emergency Department. Lamar Library celebrates the Year of the Dog
The Lamar Library brought a touch of the far east to local kids at a February 17 tea party, where young men and ladies watched the Disney classic “Mulan,” heard a very informative and entertaining story about etiquette (read by children’s librarian Kelly Shull), enjoyed some Chinese treats and cuisine, and learned about the Chinese Zodiac signs – including which of 12 cool animals signifies their birth year.
