B. J. Goodson noted for football and proclamation of faith
Football fans across the nation have been all abuzz about the Clemson University’s big win on New Year’s Eve, ousting the favored Sooners 37 – 17. The win secures their spot in the National Championship.
Yet our local football star from Lamar, B.J. Goodson, was also noted for what was printed on his towel:
“I can do all things through Christ, God is with you!”
The image was shared on social media across the nation.
His friends and family here in Darlington County know that Lamar football players are known for being awesome, and for their strong faith!
Clemson Tigers face Alabama on January 11th at 8:30 p.m. for the College Football Championship. The game will be held at the Cardinals Stadium in Glendale, AZ.
