Mask Up Darlington County initiative begins
Partners within Darlington County have teamed up to present a Mask Up Darlington County initiative to encourage residents and visitors to mask up to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
County to join ‘Make it Count’ initiative
At their Sept. 14 regular meeting, Darlington County Council administrator Charles Stewart confirmed that Darlington County plans to participate in the statewide “Make It Count” day Sept. 26, where citizens will be able to register to vote, get a flu shot, complete their Census 2020 questionnaire and get tested for COVID-19 – all in one location.
Trinity receives $10,000 donation
Soon after Trinity Collegiate School in Darlington County announced the decision to re-identify itself in an effort to be more inclusive and welcoming, the school received a donation of $10,000 from Carolyn Segars Smith, a former trustee of the school.
