4th Annual Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School Pete Cooper Titan Tennis Tournament

The 4th Annual Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School Pete Cooper Titan Tennis Tournament went off without a hitch on Saturday, May 16 at 10am. The weather was excellent, and a group of players competed for the better part of 3 hours before enjoying an exhibition match by some of the areas finest professionals. From all accounts, a great time was had by all.

The Emerson family of Florence figured prominently in the final results, with one of the three Emerson children, all of whom play tennis for Trinity-Byrnes, playing in each of the top 3 teams! Seventh-graders Wyatt Emerson and Haley Davis (of Darlington) took top honors; seventh-grader Hale Emerson and senior Joe McLean (of Florence) came in second; and in third place was ninth-grader Mary Anna Emerson and faculty member Mr. Weston Nunn (also from Florence).

Funds from sponsorships (donated by local businesses and families) and registrations went toward the Trinity-Byrnes tuition assistance program.
