Woman wounded in shooting
A woman was shot Nov. 6 in a Darlington County incident, but her wounds were not thought to be life-threatening. The Darlington County Sheriff’s Office said the incident took place on G Street when shots were fired at a group of people sitting around a fire in a vacant lot. According to reports, when deputies responded to reports of gunfire, they were told the victim had already been taken to Carolina Pines hospital in Hartsville. The incident was under investigation.
