Whitney Elizabeth Wolfe of West Columbia, S.C., and Ronald Arthur Goodson, Jr., of Darlington, S.C., were married Saturday, December 5, 2015 at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Columbia, S.C. The Reverend John Paul Trump officiated the 6 p.m. ceremony. The bride’s parents hosted a reception at The Palmetto Club following the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William Keith Wolfe of West Columbia. She is the granddaughter of Mr. & Mrs. Furman Edward Fulmer of Columbia, and Mr. & Mrs. John William Wolfe of West Columbia. Whitney earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina, and is employed with R. E. Goodson Construction Company in Darlington.
The groom is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Ronald Arthur Goodson, Sr. of Darlington. He is the grandson of the late Mr. & Mrs. Furman Martin Blackmon, Sr., and Mr. & Mrs. Robert Edward Goodson, Jr. of Darlington. Ron is a graduate of Clemson University with a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, and is employed with R. E. Goodson Construction Company in Darlington.
The bride’s cousin, Ashley Wolfe Martin, served as her matron of honor. Bridesmaids included: Alyssa Katheryn Bryant; Jordan Leigh Goodson, sister of the groom; Kristin Blair Mayhall; Hannah Paige Smith; Maria Leigh Thompson; and Bridgett Amanda Wolfe, sister-in-law of the bride.
Serving as best man was the groom’s father, Ronald Arthur Goodson, Sr. Groomsmen included: Matthew Peter Conrad; Fred Byrd Gibbs, III; Thomas Pierce Goodson, Jr., cousin of the groom; Ryan Edward James; Timothy Fields Norwood, Jr.; and Joshua Kane Wolfe, brother of the bride.
After a honeymoon on the island of Ambergris Caye, Belize, the couple will reside in Darlington.
