Who will be the next recipient of the Women’s League of Hartsville Charity Auction?

The Women’s League of Hartsville is soliciting applications from nonprofit organizations in Darlington County and specifically Hartsville when possible, to be the beneficiary of our 2017 charity auction. For your organization to be considered as a beneficiary for the Feb. 2017 auction you must submit a completed application by Monday, August 1, 2016. If chosen as a finalist, a representative from your organization will be required to present an oral request for funding on Aug. 11, 2016.
Paper applications are available now and can be picked up Retro Sip-N Seat. Electronic copies are available by contacting the Women’s League at hartsvillewomensleague@gmail.com. The chosen organizations will be required to assist with auction planning and solicitation of donations to be auctioned. Your organization must also supply a mailing list of active sponsors to be used for ticket sales. The amount of assistance provided by the chosen organization will impact the support Women’s League is able to give the beneficiary recipient after the auction.
The auction beneficiary for 2016 was Rubicon Family Counseling Services. Past recipients include The Free Medical Clinic of Darlington County, the Hartsville Community Players, Carolina Kids, Habitat for Humanity, CareSouth Carolina, Darlington County Humane Society, the Durant Center, YMCA of the Upper Pee Dee and Kalmia Gardens.
