Junius “June Bug” Bell
Junius “June Bug” Bell, age 87, of Lamar, died Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in a local nursing home.

A funeral service was held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 13th in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home, Lamar followed by interment in Lamar Memorial Cemetery.
The family received friends one hour prior to service from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Born August 1, 1927 in Darlington County, he was the son of the late William “Dud” and Sue Amerson Bell. “June Bug” worked as a mechanic. He attended Lamar Free Will Baptist Church, and Christian Pathway.
Surviving are his stepchildren, Lorinda Galloway of Florence, and Lynn (Allen) Brunson of Lamar; step-grandchildren, Jason Galloway, and Doug Andrews; step-great grandchild, Michael Andrews; and two sisters: Jeanette (Bill) Hunter and Betty Andrews.

“June Bug” was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Lee Knotts Bell
