Wedding: Myers – Altman
Melissa Nadine Myers of Hartsville, S.C., and John Keith Altman of Darlington, S.C., were married on May 14, 2016 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Hartsville, S.C. The Reverend Patricia Warden officiated the 4:00 p.m. afternoon ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tracy Myers of Hartsville, S.C. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Gary Byrd, Sr. and the late Mary Byrd of Hartsville, S.C. and Mrs. Patricia Libby of Myrtle Beach, S.C, and the late Joe Bunch.
The bride is a graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College and is employed by Copeland-Little Law Firm.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Altman of Florence, S.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Otis Register of Darlington, S.C. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Woods, and Mrs. Juanita Altman and the late Harry Altman of Florence, S.C.
The groom is a graduate of Darlington High School, and is employed by Southern States.
The bride’s friend, Brooke Spinks, served as her maid of honor. Stephanie Smith, sister of the bride, served as her matron of honor. Bridesmaid was Lauren Beard, cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Ava Bryant, niece of the groom. The flower girls were Jerzi Bryant and Korbin Bryant, nieces of the groom.
The groom’s father, John Altman, served as his best man. Groomsmen were Harley Register, cousin of the groom, and Gary Byrd, III, cousin of the bride. Junior groomsman was Balin Altman, little brother of the groom. The ring bearer was Bentley Register, cousin to the groom.
A reception followed the wedding at the Lakeview Country Club in Hartsville, S.C.
The couple will reside in Hartsville, S.C.
