Wedding: Corn – Clanton
Kayla Corn of Greer, S.C., and Thomas Clanton of Easley, S.C. were married on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at The Daniel Chapel at Furman University in Greenville, S.C. Dr. David Gallamore officiated the 2:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Corn of Greer, S.C. She earned an undergraduate and master’s degree from Clemson University, and is employed at Dixon Hughes Goodman in Greenville, S.C.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clanton of Darlington, S.C. He earned an undergraduate degree at Clemson University, and a master’s degree from Texas A & M. He is employed as Director of Youth and Missions at Easley Presbyterian Church.
The matron of honor was Mrs. Kelly McVay (Austin) and maid of honor was Miss Anna Escoe. Bridesmaids were: Miss Anna Clanton, sister of the groom; Miss Rosi Clanton, sister of the groom; Miss Jenna Key; Mrs. Susanna Fowler (Andy); and Mrs. McKenzie Brittain (Drew). Flower girl was Miss Neeli Luther, cousin of the bride.
Serving as best man was the groom’s father, Mr. Robert Clanton. Groomsmen were: Hunter Thomas, Matt Geddings, Kevin Santos, Dan Buehler, Taylor Champion, and Cody Dominick. Ushers were Ben Brown, and Nolan Speice. The ringbearer was Jaxon Toney, cousin of the bride.
Following the wedding, a reception was held at the Younts Center, Furman University, in Greenville, S.C.
The couple traveled to St. Lucia for their honeymoon.
