Trinity-Byrnes students earn academic accolades

Ten Trinity-Byrnes students earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on Advanced Placement exams in 2015.

Andrew Reynolds and Cates Saleeby both qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams and scores of 3.0 or higher on five or more of these exams.

Meghan Curran and Katherine Farrell qualified for the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams and scores of 3.0 or higher on four or more exams.

Qiyu Dai, Connor Francis, Kirk Jebaily, Taylor Jones, Grant MacPherson and Francis St. Domingo all qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams with scores of 3.0 or higher.

On the College Board SAT the average composite score for the TBCS Class of 2015 was 1604/2400, compared with 1442 for South Carolina and 1442 nationally. The top 30% of TBCS students scored 1940/2400.
