Trinity-Byrnes holds annual Arts Festival
Trinity-Byrnes celebrated its fifth annual Arts Festival on campus Friday, April 27 – Sunday, April 29. The multi-day event included a spring concert and dance performance, drama production, an Art Market featuring student and local artists, as well as vendors with international food.
Guests were invited to come shop the Art Market on Friday evening and to view the art on exhibit created by 7th-12 grade students throughout the school year. Art on display consisted of charcoal still life, spray paint stencil street art, watercolor and oil paintings, and much more.
The music concert featured students from all grade levels across a wide variety of genres. The TBCS Music Club, which is a student-led and organized effort, also contributed talent. The High School Music Ensemble opened and closed the concert with some high-octane selections, with all of the evening’s performers invited come together on stage for the grand finale, “Come Sail Away with Me” by Styx.
The high school’s presentation of “Legally Blonde Jr., The Musical” on Saturday and Sunday culminated the weekend’s showcase of student talent. Audience members were captivated by the students’ performance.
