Trinity-Byrnes Collegiate School celebrated a growing Fine Arts program with three very special events held at the school April 16-18, which the school named the Spring Festival of the Arts.

The first event was held on Thursday, April 16, at the school’s Library, from 6 – 8 p.m. The visual art program, led by Fine Arts Department chairperson Shawn Thompson, was on display in an exhibition of “process and product” during a reception and showing for students, faculty, families and guests. The show featured a variety of works created by students and faculty that will explore the question, “what can be considered art?”

A dance performance presented by Dance instruction Susan Rowe and her students entitled “Dancing Through the Decades” was held on Friday, April 17, at 7 p.m. in the school’s Sonoco Gym.

A music concert was held at the gymnasium on Saturday, April 18, at 7 p.m.
