Darlington Varsity Baseball

Varsity Baseball couldn’t quite put the pieces together against the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs in game 1 of the 2 game series. The score was 12-5 in favor of the Chiefs. Shemar Simens of Darlington went 2-4 with a double and an RBI. It was a strong showing from him. Darlington will be taking on the Lamar sliver foxes this Friday to finish their out of conference play before their end of season conference surge.

Darlington Varsity Softball

The Lady Falcons pulled out a win over the North Myrtle Beach Chiefs at home in game 1 of their series. Pitcher Maddie Andrews pitched a great game with 8 strikeouts and only 2 runs through 7 innings. Kanaya Jones at short stop was a brick wall defensively and Alayna Williams lead the falcons on offense going 2-3 with 3 RBI’s. The Lady Falcons will play a Double Header at Dillon this Thursday starting at 5:00 pm.

Hartsville Varsity Baseball

Varsity Baseball shut out the Myrtle Beach Seahawks in game 1 of the 2 game series this past week. The score was 4-0, lead by Pitcher Cam Cannarella who threw 8 strike outs allowing only 3 hits. It was a great defensive performance by the Red foxes. They will be finishing up conference series against the South Florence Bruins this Friday at 6:30pm.

Hartsville Varsity Softball

Varsity Girls handled business at home against the Myrtle Beach seahawks this week in the first game of their series. The score was 10-0 lead by pitchers Allie Bailey and Alyssa Poston who combined threw a no-hit game with 7 strikeouts. Poston also went 2-2, had one RBI, and two runs. We can look forward to seeing the Red foxes hold their perfect conference record against South Florence Friday at 6:00pm.
