Sheriff: Felon arrested twice in a month with gun, drugs

Darlington County Sheriff Tony Chavis has announced the arrest of two Hartsville men after the execution of a search warrant Aug. 7 at a residence on Willis Drive by Drug Enforcement Unit Investigators and the Special Incident Response Team.
“In less than a month, we have arrested the same felon twice with guns and drugs,” stated Chavis. “Friday, my investigators located heroin, cocaine, a handgun, needles, a weight scale and drug paraphernalia following an investigation into the continued illegal sale of drugs from the felon’s home.”
Chavis says Michael Anthony Dudley, 41, is charged with trafficking heroin, possession of a firearm during a violent crime, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and distribution of heroin. Dudley was denied bond by a Darlington County magistrate.
Dudley was released in July after his arrest for trafficking heroin, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony, and possession of a firearm during a violent crime.
Timothy Michael Hogan, 38, is charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. Hogan was given a $25,000 bond by a Darlington County magistrate.
