Second suspect held in local teen’s death

A second man has been charged in the May death of a teenager near Hartsville, officials said. Rodrequis Anthony Warren of Florence was booked into the Darlington County jail Nov. 4 on a charge of involuntary manslaughter, jail records show. Officials allege he carelessly handled guns while inside a vehicle, resulting in a shot being fired that killed the unidentified juvenile. His body was found May 18. Another suspect, identified as Jali Cottingham, also has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the case.
