Second Dollar General robbed

For the second time in a four-day period, a Dollar General store in Darlington County was robbed last week. On Feb. 16, the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office said, two men held up the Dollar General on McIver Road, stole cash and fled in a black car. On Feb. 12, another Dollar General, this one in the Lydia area, was robbed by two armed, masked men. No store employees were injured.
