‘Scare on the Square’ draws large crowd

Friday, Oct. 29th, the City of Darlington Parks and Recreation Department hosted ‘Scare on the Square’ in downtown Darlington. The event was originally planned for Thursday, Oct. 28th. Due to inclement weather, it was changed to Friday, Oct. 29th. The change of date did not diminish crowd size. The line of trick-or-treaters extended around the outside and inside of the square. Local businesses participated and distributed candy and treats to those in attendance.
