There will be a one-day Camp Meeting event at the Hartsville Center Theater, Saturday, Aug. 1, doors open at 3:00 p.m., services begins at 4:00 p.m. The event is FREE of charge for everyone to attend. There will be great singing for the heart of Praise and Worship music lead by an awesome praise band, Summit Trace, from Boonesville, N.C., and the Camp Meeting preacher is Deacon Alex C. Jones from Detroit, Michigan. Deacon Jones will be preaching the theme: Being Restored, Being Renewed, Being Empowered.
If there ever was a time needed for a great revival, this is it. We, as citizens of SC, and the Nation, has undergone a dramatic shift in our culture beginning with the hatred racist attacked that resulted in the martyrdom of 9 African-Americans in Charleston to the Supreme Court ruling changing the culture’s norm on marriage.

Deacon Alex C. Jones will also be the guest preacher at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Hoffemeyer Rd., Florence, Sunday Morning, August 2.
