S.C. Yoga & Healing Arts Festival

The first-ever South Carolina Yoga & Healing Arts Festival will be held on Saturday, October 22 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Burry Park in Downtown Hartsville.

The event will feature many areas for individuals to sample yoga and healing arts practitioners.

In the Yoga Village, enjoy experiences with Jamie Martel and Lindsey Allen, Belinthia Coggins Elder, Anahata, Erin Guntis, Tiffany Maloney, and Casey Copeland sharing Vinyasa Flow, introduction to Kundalini Yoga and Meditation, drum circle. An ecstatic dance party begins at 5 p.m. with D.J. iDfK, followed by live reggae music at 6:30 p.m. by Jahson and the Natty Vibes.

In the Healing Oasis, meet practitioners Mary Beth Bender, Tiffany Maloney, Anhata, Jennifer Erickson and Katie Lee sharing the healing arts.

Chidlren will love the Fairy Garden with activities such as Pinwheels for Peace with Jennifer Griffin, a community art project with Jason Crist, kids yoga with Mary Beth Bender, storytime with Tameka Phillips, and fairyland dress up and parade with Ashley Copeland.

Food & drink will be available from the LighterSide, Vintage Craft Beer and Wine Boutique, Crema Coffee Bar, Retrofit sip-n-seat, and The Midnight Rooter.
