Pride of Darlington Business Award: South of Pearl
The City of Darlington Beautification Board presented the Business Pride of Darlington Award to South of Pearl on Monday, July 17, for work done to improve and beautify the interior and exterior of the property.
Built in 1899, the elegant two-story residence located at 117 Edwards Avenue has been home to some of Darlington’s more upscale citizens. Under the guidance of owner/proprietor Todd Hardee, that uptown spirit lives on as South of Pearl, a restaurant and venue with authentic southern class and charm. The property is adjacent to the Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home.
