Patrol deputies interrupt burglary
Darlington County Sheriff’s Investigators have charged one individual and continue to search for another following an early Thursday morning incident.

“Around 1 a.m. Thursday morning, patrol deputies checking the Dollar General at the corner of Timmonsville Hwy. and Hoffmeyer Rd. located a person sitting in a vehicle outside of the store, and the front glass door to the business broken,” said Sheriff Tony Chavis. “A shopping basket filled with tobacco products was located near the door and it is believed a second individual fled the scene.”



Investigators have charged Kristyn Ashley Feaster, 27, of Florence, with burglary, second degree. Feaster remains in custody at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center. Investigators continue to search for John Lawrence Barfield, 33, of Florence. Barfield is wanted for burglary, second degree.
