Patrol deputies catch burglary suspect
Darlington County Sheriff’s Patrol Deputies have arrested Marquese Devante Jett, 25, of Darlington. Jett is charged with burglary, second degree, and petit larceny.
During the afternoon of August 23, patrol deputies were dispatched to a residence on Miller Dr. in the Darlington area due to a residence being burglarized. Patrol deputies spoke with several witnesses while on scene and were able to identify the suspect, Jett. Patrol deputies were given consent to search Jett’s residence discovering several of the items stolen from the victim. Jett was subsequently taken into custody.
