Outstanding middle school student to perform at Carnegie Hall
Timothy Lee O’Neal, an eighth grader at Hand Middle School in Columbia, has been selected for the 2015 Middle School Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall. He is the son of Tim and Susan H. O’Neal of Columbia and the grandson of Willie James and Janie Howell of Lamar.
O’Neal will perform trumpet-Bb at Carnegie Hall on June 27, 2015, with the National Honors Junior Band. Participation is limited to the highest rated middle school performers from across North America and select schools internationally.
His proud grandparents from Lamar will be in attendance.
