Order bricks by May 1
The American Legion Post #13 will hold the 2015 Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25 at 11:00 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Park, located at the Public Square in Darlington. Seating will be provided in the lot adjoining Carolina Bank. You may also bring your own seating.
The ceremony will honor the brave men and women who have served past and present in the armed forces and merchant marines for the United States of America.
Memorial bricks purchased since November 2014 will be dedicated during the ceremony. At this time, 65 spaces remain on the last wall until completion.
The fee to purchase a personalized brick is $50, and orders will be taken until May 1 for dedication on Memorial Day.
