News from Rotary Club of Darlington
Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Darlington are working hard to eradicate polio. Club President Byard Stone, Jr. and Rotarian Dennis C. Jenkins hand-crafted two pairs of Adirondack chairs with tables, and then contributed the $600 they received for the chairs towards Rotary’s goal for the eradication of polio.
Rotary, along with its partners, has reduced polio cases by 99 percent worldwide since our first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979. Rotarians have helped immunize more than 2 billion children against polio in 122 countries.
