New 4-H Club: Friendship Club
An organizational meeting of what will hopefully be a 4-H Friendship Club for youth ages 9 – 13 will be held on Sep 26, 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the Clemson Extension office, 300 Russell St, Rm 222, Darlington. This will be a general interest club that will meet 4:00-5:30 one Monday afternoon a month (Sept., Oct., Nov., Jan., Feb., Mar.) with educational programming decided on by youth.
Some suggestions will be: first aid, how to sew on a button, make a bucket seat for hunting or gardening, science experiments, and service projects.
Cost: $10 annual 4-H membership. Other costs will be incurred as activities are planned. Please call the Extension office 843-393-0484 by Sep 22 to let Leigh Walker know if you plan to attend, or call if you have questions.
