Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Dubose have been given the Residential Pride Award for the fine work they’ve done to their home and yard at 622 First Street in Darlington. This award, given by the City Beautification Board, rewards those who put in that extra effort to improve and maintain their surroundings and beautify our city. Great job, Mr. & Mrs. Dubose! The City of Darlington Beautification Board presents the Pride of Darlington Award and solicits nominations from the public each quarter.
Nominations for residential property must be made by April 1 and October 1 of each year, and by January 10 and June 1 of each year for businesses. The business award nominees can include the interior of businesses and other non-residential property other than churches. All nominees should be located within the city limits.
You may submit nominations to the Board via email to the Darlington Planner at rock@cityofdarlington.com or by calling (843) 398-4000 x 103. Please include the address and name of owner, if known.
