Miss SC Sweet Potato Teen wins media award
Miss S.C. Sweet Potato Festival Teen Payton Lang won the Miss South Carolina Teen Media Award at the pageant held this past weekend in Columbia; she received a $500 savings bond for winning the award. The media award recognizes the contestant with the most media coverage throughout their reign. The pageant wants to thank the Darlington News and Press for their support and help in earning this award. Lang was named a Top Ten semi finalist at the pageant.
