The Miss Darlington High School pageant will be held on November 12 at 6 p.m. at the St. John’s Elementary School Auditorium. The theme of the pageant is “Miss DHS goes to Hawaii,” and will feature Miss Darlington High School 2015 Aubrey Goodwin, Miss Florence 2016 Brooke Vu, the Kendall Standish voice studio, Breanna Barfield, KFA of Florence, and emcee Tiletha Lane.

Miss DHS 2015 Aubrey Goodwin will relinquish her crown to the new winner on November 12 at 6 p.m. at St. John’s Elementary School in Darlington. Goodwin has a wonderful year as Miss DHS, representing the school at the 2016 Miss South Carolina Teen pageant and is seen her on the house of State House steps in Columbia receiving her bronze Duke of Edinburg award for her community service. Tickets are $5 and available at the door.
Contestants from grades 9-12 will compete in casual wear, talent, evening gown and on-stage question; the winner will be awarded a college scholarship for the first time in the school’s history. If you would like to become a scholarship donor contact Darlington High School Teacher of the Year Blaire Goodson at 843-858-4540. All donations are tax-free, and you would be helping to send a deserving young woman to college.
Tickets for the event are $5 and will be available at the door. We encourage the community and all Darlington High School students and teachers to attend this wonderful event – without the community support, no event will be successful!
