Man held in Darlington shooting

A man was being held in the Darlington County jail after a shooting Saturday night in Darlington, police said.
About 10:02 p.m., the Darlington Police Department responded to a call of a shot fired on Tedder Street and Pearl Street. When officers arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital.
Arrested in the case was Deshawn Mautese Goins, 28. He was transported to the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center without incident.
The victim was in stable condition. The incident is still under investigation.
