Lynchburg man charged with criminal sexual conduct
The Darlington County Sheriff’s Special Victims Unit has arrested and charged Willie James
Singletary, 61, of Lynchburg with four counts of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, first degree.
Investigators allege that earlier this month Singletary engaged in sexual activity with two minor victims at a residence in the Hartsville area of Darlington County. In 2004 Singletary was convicted of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, first degree, in Lee County. Singletary is currently being held at the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center awaiting arraignment.
