Lamar Varsity Football team Dominates Great Falls 56 – 16

Friday, September 17th, the Lamar Silver Foxes battled the visiting Great Falls Red Devils in a varsity football action in Lamar. At the start of the game, Lamar landed 28 points over the visiting Red Devils after two turnovers. By the end of the first quarter, the Silver Foxes let 35 to 8 over the Red Devils. In the second quarter, both defenses picked up making it more difficult for the teams to run touchdowns. Lamar was only able to place one touchdown and field goal while Great Falls placed no points. At the start of the second half, Great Falls picked up by placing 8 points over Lamars one touchdown by Anderson. By the end of the third quarter, Lamar was still well in the lead with 49 -16 over Great Falls. The fourth quarter finalized Lamars victory as the Silver Foxes placed another touchdown by McManus and field goal by Windham on the Red Devils ending the game with a 56 – 16 victory for Lamar!
